Background
George was born in Cyprus arrived in Australia in 1951 and has been creating art works since childhood, interrupted by decades as a lawyer, parent, social work and a lot of travels. The excitement of art in life is the inspiration and source of his work.
Medium
George is not limited in his mediums, the situation and what is available are only part of the quandary of the artist. It is, what is said and how effective is the communication that is the art.
Inspiration
Art is the joy portrayed in the diary of being alive. Art is life itself. So much is given to us and we can only try to capture what we see and feel. Subjects are our world. George'sinspiration is his experience in the event of his life, its excursions, mishaps and pleasures.
